The barking in my opinion can be loud at times though. I have a 4 bedroom house whitch my gliders have their own room to play in on the other end of the house (way the house is layed out) and can sometimes hear them all the way in my bedroom at night. You might be able to get away with it though. I do encourage you to read learn and absorb all you can about gliders before getting one though. Gliders require more attention than hedhogs do alot more. You need to look at downsides and good sides to owning them also. Take into consideration the biting can you accept a glider biting and bringing blood (not all gliders bite). There is also food requirements along with vitamins and calcium. You also have to look at your lifestyle and make sure that you have time for these little creatures and think " Can I give this little guy the attention and playtime it needs every night?" You also have to look into safety like glider proofing your home and other pets. I am not trying to discourage you in no way on getting a glider. I personally think they are wonderful pets. I just wanted you to think about a few of the many things of owning a glider.
: I've been looking into a new pet. My hedgehog recently passed away. I believe I've decided on a sugar glider. My problem is I live in an apartment with thin walls and a "mainly no pet" policy. I've heard they are relatively quiet pets, the couple I been around during the day have made a light chatter. I've never heard them at night during play though. I was wondering if this barking would be too loud(might get complaints). I appreciate the help. : Thanks,
