Christine,
How aweful, I am very sorry about the loss of your little girl. I am not sure what the problem could have been. When she was out the night before, did you have her in sight the whole time? Maybe she got into something poisonous, some detergent or something??? I hope your other girl is okay, she is probably very lonely for her sister at this time. You may want to consider getting her a new playmate as soon as possible.
Whatever you do, do not blame yourself for this mishap. You are a good mother to your gliders and terrible things sometimes happen with no explanation.

Keep your chin up and love your other glider as much as possible, she really needs you now!

: my roomate and I bought two freshly weaned sister in November. They were both really healthy and active. We fed and housed them properly and took really good care of them. Then one morning, I wake up and find my little Athena dead on the floor of the cage. I had taken her out the night before and played with her and she was fine. I have done quite a bit of research and can't find anything that could have killed her. The only thing I can think is that maybe it was caused by bad breeding. The guy I got her from (I found this out after she died) has had 13 litters from the same glider without really giving her any rest time. If anyone has any ideas as to what may have caused this, I would really appreciate some input.
