Right now I'm really not interested in getting a replacement
glider until I find out what happened and if it is going to
affect the other one. I know he has another litter because he
called me to see if I wanted them before mine died. At this
point though, everyone I have talked to has said it sounds like
a breeding defect, but they are more knowledgeable about the
breeding of other animals

: I'm so very sorry about your gliders death. I know you are
: heartbroken. Have you contacted your breeder about a replacemnt?
: I replaced a glider that died months after going home with
: her new owner, even though the owner admitted to not giving
: the vitamin (etc.,) supplements I recommended. (I've been a
: breeder for 5 yrs). Maybe he'll replace her.

: : my roomate and I bought two freshly weaned sister in November. They were both really healthy and active. We fed and housed them properly and took really good care of them. Then one morning, I wake up and find my little Athena dead on the floor of the cage. I had taken her out the night before and played with her and she was fine. I have done quite a bit of research and can't find anything that could have killed her. The only thing I can think is that maybe it was caused by bad breeding. The guy I got her from (I found this out after she died) has had 13 litters from the same glider without really giving her any rest time. If anyone has any ideas as to what may have caused this, I would really appreciate some input.
