I introduced my 1 1/2 yr old female to a female baby and it
went just fine. I kept them in separate cages for a few days,
but close enough they could see, smell and "talk" to eachother.
I put them together while they were sleepy, and supervised closely.
My adult glider was very happy to have a friend, and the baby
wanted a mommy, she even tried to get in the pouch! My older glider
is definately the dominant glider, but it works out well. After about 4-5
days in separate cages, they barked and fussed so much to be together
that they have lived in the same cage since.

As for bonding with your baby, and not neglecting your older one, just use
your instincts. Bond with the baby, but give your adult lots of attention too.
Let them play with you and snuggle with you together. If your adult is well
bonded and at ease with you, your baby might get the hint sooner that you are their
friend.

I hope it goes well!
