Hi Krystel,

I'm Cheri (and Gizmo). What do you mean by "AE" glider? I have not heard that before, just curious. Where are you moving from? I live in Houston, TX and it is very hot if not hotter than Phoenix. I carry Gizmo around in a drawstring pouch that hangs around my neck (under my shirt). There is a big opening to insure sufficient ventilation. I think the most important thing about carrying your glider with you is making sure they can breath. Also, I put some grapes in there, and whenever I think about it (quite often) I dip my finger in some water for Gizmo to lick. He also needs to stay hydrated. I don't like to carry him with me if I am going to be outside for a long period of time, he gets sweaty and I don't think he likes it too much. When you leave for the few hours, will you be indoors or outdoors? The temperature should be a comfortable 76 degrees every place you walk into, hot cities keep their buildings cool. If you will be outside for that few hours, then for Daquiri's safety I really think it would be better to leave her at home, she needs the beauty rest anyway :>)

Just try a few different things out when you get there and listen to your motherly instinct. I'm sure that what ever you do, it will be in Daquiri's best interest. You are obviously a very caring and nurturing mother, just don't change that and everything will be okay!

Good luck,
Cheri and Gizmo ~Q>

: wow, been a while since I was here last. Well, for those I havent met, my nameis Krystel, im 18, I have a SG named Daquiri (female). She is an AE glider and spoiled ROTTEN! Her and I are moveing to the phoenix area, (I have a cold air conditioner....no worries people) but since she is an AE glider, she still leaps on me when I leave the room, and wants to go with me out into the heat. Now that the temperatures are climbing so fast, I dont know If I want her in the heat. I have a purse that she loves, but it is black, so I am thinking of replaceing it, and in one of those hidden inner pockets you find in purses, Im thinking of putting an icepak or something in it. Something to keep the purse cool while she is in it. I am so used to haveing her in my clothes or my hair. How do I work out this summer? Any ideas? I dont mind leaving her at home (sniffle sniffle..all right...so I do mind, but she is ok being at home alone for a few hours without me, but I miss her too much, its like leaving your left hand at home). Please respond with loads of advice. I am more worried about her keeping cool. Thank you
