Okay, thanks for the advice, I will not let tem out together.
Chinzie, is awake alot during the day. He has been like that since I got him two years ago. Not very early in the day, Id say about 4 o'clock and later that he wants out. Ill open his cage and he jumps out. Ill put him in his ball for a lttle bit. When I see him not running around, I put him back into his cage. I thought chinchillas were nocturnal too, but hes awake more during the late day and some night time. Is that okay, or just strange?

: Does anyone think it would be safe to let my gliders run around my room along with my chinchilla? I have been thinking of introducing them and letting them all three run around at night. I usually let Chinzie(my chin) run around the house in his ball during the day, and have been considering them all together at night.
