Im in the same vote here, Right now I live in a small community, and Daquiri is always on me. Teachers at school like to play with her and students are fascinated. People in the community are asking me where I got her because they want one. I have to keep reminding people, that they Do make wonderfull pets, but they become a part of you, a part of you that requires constant TLC. That gliders require more patience and love then people can imagine. I also remind them that gliders can live 0ver 14 years, and they are a commitment, not an animal you can give away if something happens. (well, you can give them away, but I would never do it, Daquiri is as important to me as my left hand). I remind these people, that they (gliders) also keep you up at night. Nocturnal animals. I have had to work double shifts at my job and NEEDED sleep for college exams in the morning, but Daquiri wanted to play and kept me up barking. They are a lot like babies, if they cry in the middle of the night, then you forget about your own needs and tend to thiers. ( Or at least I do....If Daquiri has a need or want Im there.) I will be the same way if/when im married and have kids. Maybe im just an overanxious mother?!
