: Chrissy; I agree I think that maybe this is not a good time for a glider yet.I bought one and then within a week I realized how much care and attention they really need.
So I went back and got her sister. I really think that gliders should be kept in pairs. They can be very expensive to take care of. Mine are finiky so I spend a lot of money on food. The cage I have had to be really big because they need a lot of room to excersise when they can't be out of the cage. They bark and call me at 4am EVERY night.
I just think that a sugar glider is to much responsibility
for a young lady who should be hanging out with her friends
having fun. I don't want you to think that having sugar gliders is bad. But it's kind of like having a baby, they need special care . Having a glider means no trips out of town . This stresses the animal to much. This means no long weekends sleeping over at friends houses. You have to be there all the time. I hope your not to dissapointed.
God luck Kristi
