Subject: New exotic pet law in Houston, TX Posted by Cheri on May 18, 1999 at 23:15:26: There has apparently been a new law passed here in Houston. You pay $250.00/year to own a glider and $500.00/yr for breeding gliders. If your gliders breed, but you not for the purpose of resale, you still have to pay this fee. INSANE! How will they ever be able to enforce such a thing? This has now driven the price of gliders in Houston way down. It is scary! Anybody have this kind of law where you live? Cheri and Gizmo ~Q>
