Sorry about the bad advice Jessie, thanks for the heads up Jane.

Just a stupid question, if this is an illegal state, then how was the purchase possible? Just curious.

Cheri

: Jessie, DO NOT DO that. you are in an illegal state. Be careful. For experienced vets you can use the Huge Abgell Memorial Vet in boston. They have several vets that know about gliders. They look after the colony of gliders that live in the Museum of Science. This colony comes from confiscated illegal animals. Connie Orcutt at this hospital is good with gliders
: and will want to know if you are looking after your glider properly. Email me at glidegirl@usa.net this is a holding email I use to screen peopel to make sure they are safe. Let me know ehere you are and I will be able to give more help.
: : : i need to find a vet around me. dont wand to wait till something happens. i live in MA and very close to CONN.

: : Hi Jessie,

: : I am completly unfamiliar with that area. If I were you, I would just open the phone book and start dialing. Ask if they have experience with sugargliders or exotic animals. If not, then dial the next one, I'm sure you will be able to find someone. Also, look up vets on the web, maybe there will be one listed that is in your area. (It would be faster on the phone though).

: : Sorry could not help, good luck!

: : ps: what do you need the vet for?
