This new law is about rediculous! When I started doing my calling around here in Tennessee some or most people said a what?! Then I end up explaining what a sugar glider is. This is just my opinion who are they to tell us what kind of animals we can and cannot have. I mean this is a free country and you have to pay this $$ amount just to own a sugar glider. I mean I am glad that we have rules and regulations on the sweeties but to charge us to own them is rediculous! I just can't undertand why they would do that in Texas and it will eventually be country wide if it has started there. But I am like another poster how will they know you own or posses a glider? I also wonder is it just in Houston or is it state wide? I just had to put my 2 cents worth like it means anything but I just find it as violating a right to privacy.
