: I have a girl who is about 8 months who has always lived alone. I would like to breed her with my friend's male, and I know this would take a lot of socialization, but my question is this: what kind of luck has anyone had with a consistent personality in this situation? Have most of your female gliders maintained their personalities or are they likely to get nasty once they breed? I would like for her to have one of her babies as a companion, but I don't want her to get mean. Any words of wisdom? Thanks-

KimSalt,

Breeding your female with your friend's male is not an ideal situation.
Pairs breed only when they are bonded, and once bonded it would be
cruel to separate the two. If you REALLY want to try to have little
ones (is it legal where you live?), I would strongly advise that
you adopt/purchase your own male.

Good luck.
