Well.. first I have to ask.... how old are you? Do you have a job, or atleast a regular income?

If you do get a male, and they breed, are you going to be able to handle the situation? Make sure the momma is healthy, eats enough etc? when the joeys come oop, are you prepared to spend a lot of time with them *everyday* so that they will grow up to be tame and loving? Are you prepared to deal with the changes your female glider may go through after birth? Crankness, weirdness... Many animals change after they have been mated. Your sweet little female glider will be a mother. Are you prepared for that? Also, adding a new pet to your house can affect your glider, too. (I know cats are gliders but...) We had two cats, and then we got a new kitten. Both of our cats started acting very strange... very needy, very different. It completely changed them. It happens with other animals, too.
If you are simply looking for a companion for your glider, you may want to try another female... for now anyway.
