Yup;-) I'm sooooo excitted, and shocked.

My first pair (Busy & Belle) have been together for over a year and a half with no babies. These two (Beau & Brie) have only been together since december. I was beginning to think no joey's in our future, when my littlest princess (Brie) shocked the daylights outta me --

She was investigating the cage of a recently rescued glider when I noticed how absolutely lopp-sided she was. Upon closer inspection, I found mommy-hood in progress, apparently it's been quite awhile judging by the size of her "tumor" -- I cant believe I missed something like that until now -- we're expecting the little bundle of noise sometime in June.

I called everybody I knew to tell 'em I'm gonna be a grand-mommy. This is the only animal I've ever had (my own) that's had a baby.

We were going to introduce the new female to make a trio, but I think I'll wait until the joey is old enough to defend his/her self, and I dont want Brie to loose the baby from stress.

I'm praying that she and the baby will be okay, I've heard so many stories of babies lost (especially first litters) --
