When I introduced my male to my female he crabbed a little but they have been fine ever since. I didn't keep them in separate cages either. I introduced him in the early evening, and she just crawled into his bed and curled up and slept. When the got up it was like they were old friends. Every now and then I think they are hurting each other but it looks like they are playing tag. One will sneak up on the other one and nip their tail then take off running. I also just called my vet and they charge $85. He said the do put them under to do the procedure and it requires a couple of stitches, they use the disolvable ones. He hasn't had any problems with them licking the area after but he hasn't done a whole lot of them. Hope this helps.

: I just introduced my male and female gliders for the first time.
: They didn't fight or crab, they just kind of grabbed at each
: other and wrestled around together. They didn't seem to be hurting
: each other. Is that normal? They didn't run and play together at
: all. They are still staying in separate cages, but they get play time
: together. How long should I wait before I put them together?
: Also, those of you who have had a male neutered how much did
: it cost? How hard was it on your glider? I want a couple of
: babies, but I don't want a herd! Ha ha! If you could answer any
: of my questions please let me know!

: Thanks,
