My vet charges $85. He uses gas for anesthesia and removes the testicles but leaves the sac so he still has something there. Mine didn't even really notice anything missing (no chewing or excessive licking anyway) and were completely back to their old selves in 3 days. About a month after the surgery, their bald spots dissapeared and they became less agressive during play and got along with the females better (no more squabbles at 3 am.)

: I just introduced my male and female gliders for the first time.
: They didn't fight or crab, they just kind of grabbed at each
: other and wrestled around together. They didn't seem to be hurting
: each other. Is that normal? They didn't run and play together at
: all. They are still staying in separate cages, but they get play time
: together. How long should I wait before I put them together?
: Also, those of you who have had a male neutered how much did
: it cost? How hard was it on your glider? I want a couple of
: babies, but I don't want a herd! Ha ha! If you could answer any
: of my questions please let me know!

: Thanks,
: Brandi
