Tanya, You may want to ask some of the nutrienists (sp) about all that you are feeding them. (could be the cause for the constipation.) I was told the Briskeys is a total balanced diet and should be used alone with fresh fruits. The leadbeaters is full of calcium and i was told if i feed them anything extra with calcium to cut back on the calcium in the leadbeaters. In the recipe that i have it includes the reptocal in it. is that what you are doing too? then sprinkling extra on top? you might want to ask some of those people that are working with the balancing of the gliders vitamins, and nutrients. mixing all that (i know you said not all each night) but you just may be over supplimenting their foods.? It is worth checking into. especially since you are having a problem now. just my 3 cents worth : Each night I feed them a different variety of things (i.e. thawed out frozen mixed veges; fresh apples, pears, mangos, watermelon, grapes, carrots, celery, bell pepper, raw sweet potato, cooked white potato; Leadbeaters. I make sure that I always sprinkle the supplement vitamins (Glider Booster and Rep-Cal) on their food regularly, as directed.: Because of noticing a little bit of constipation this week, now I also will be giving them some nectar regularly, a couple of times a week. : I hope this helps... : : I am needing some advice on the subject of Brisky's alone or with other foods. I feel a little guilty about giving just Brisky's for a meal. I feel it would get quite boring for my gliders to only eat Brisky's. : : I know that it is nutritionally sound but worry that they may not get the right nutrients because of them getting tired of the same old food everyday. : : The first time I put it in their cage they really went for it, but now I have it in there everyday and they don't hardly touch it at all. I don't want to over do it with a lot of other foods and Brisky's too, so I guess what I am asking is what else should I be feeding with Brisky's to ensure the right amount of vitamin C,D and whatever else is required. : : Right now they get Brisky's, fruit, nuts, yogurt, sepacal, veggies, mealworms, leadbetter's mix. : : This is not the menu nightly, but they do get this all probably in a weeks time. : : Thanks for any help with this, I don't want them to get a vitamin deficiency of any kind. : : Thanks for any help, : : Sherry
