They didn't like any of them in the least. I would recommend just working on bonding with your glider. Once a good bond is created then you will be able to take her places without worrying about her getting away from you. That's what I did and I can take my gliders anywhere and never worry that they will run away. As far as letting her loose in the house. Try just letting her out in one room at a time...making absolutly sure it's glider proofed and make sure you supervise her carefully. The excercise will be good for her! I haven't heard anything on sugar cane but my first instinct would be to say no, don't give it to her unless I did some research and found it ok by a reputable source. Do you have a bonding pouch? If so, you could hang it in her cage and she'd love to sleep there. good luck!!
