I would watch very carefully. There is a good chance that since the joey just came OOP that the mother is rejecting it. You may need to remove the baby and set up a hospital cage and nurse the baby yourself. If you see any signs of agression towards it, remove the baby at once.

He(joey) has been crying on and off, I am not sure if he is scared, cold or hungry. Is it okay for him to be left alone , and if so for how long? I want to make sure he is getting the proper care, and that the parents are not rejecting him. He just seems to young to be left alone for that long, help is this normal?
