: I have had my sugar glider for about 6 months now and he's pretty well bonded with me. I'm not sure if he's playing or not but he'll bite on my nails and skin every chance he gets. He also makes a little clicking noise at my fingers and then barks a couple of times. Does anyone know how to curb the biting and what the clicking/barking means?

Eunice,
My male, Sydney, is a biter too. Sometimes he's worse than others and usually he's very sweet and likes to be rubbed and even kissed. He only bites me though which I think must be part of bonding. I don't know if it is a smell thing or what but no part of my body that has skin is safe. I think he's playing because he sure looks onery when he does it. So, your're not alone, others of us are getting the crap bit out of them too. Good luck.
