When I was yung I resucued baby armidillos from the creek behind our house. My mother was not pleased
that I brought them in the house, and she knew it was not a good idea to keep them, so she helped find a solution.

We called our local zoo and they directed us to a wild animal rescue site that cared for my new babys.
I got to see their new home and many other animals that were rescued. After the animals could make it on their
own they were released in the woods.

This may not be the solution for you, But I remember how happy it made me knowing they could give my armidillos
medical care and a good home they loved.

Does your local vet take care of exsotic animals? Do chipmunks need special vaccinations or dietary suppliments?
How do Chipmunks react to living in captivity as they get older? I would ask advice from my vet. Then go from there.

Hope I could be of help. Good luck with your new angel.
