I am sure that most all of the pet stores tell only all of the wonderful joys of owning a glider as a pet. But this is part of the reason their is such a need for glider rescues. These people discovered that this perfect pet was more than they could handle. They do have some bad sides and I value all the info on gliders since I still haven't got mine. I rather hear facts about 100% of what they are like before I get mine. I want to know what to prepare for. I am sure some of the rescue people like KK and E. B. would love to be able to go out of buisiness if they could. Don't slam Tiffany. She loves her glider. If she hated Eos would she have taken the time to introduce her to me here at school, since before that I had never seen one in real life. No, she is a proud pet owner who values her pet and is not upset showing her off.
Also an interesting thing is in meeting Eos the first time the glider was perfect. Didn't make a sound, didn't bite, and was rather content to stay on my arm. I am glad the bad points are brough up since the experience I had with the glider was a one sided look at their natural behaviour.
Again, I don't think anyone deserves to be slammed for giving accurate information. She only gave facts and was not slamming the person who wrote the message either. Keep up the good work Tiffany. Tiffany, if you read this could you please e-mail me. I want to find out the vet you use in town. I know it's still 2 months before I get my pair but I would like to have a knowledgable vet lined up well in advance. Thanxs.
Tim
