Gliders are communal animals, getting her a friend, would only help make a good situation even better. Everyone I have ever talked to has realyed to me that it does not change the bond with you any different. So the choice is yours, if you have the room, and its what you want to do, then go for it. I have 4. As to how you should introduce them, I have never had to do that so all the infomation I can relay, has been from other sources. Most people keep the gliders in seperate cages, close together so that they can be near each other. They also have switched out pouches so that the gliders can start to be introduced to each others smell. Than, you would want to introduce them in a neutral area, keeping a close eye on them. Getting another female, shouldn't pose a large problem, or even a neutered male. Putting two males together, without being neutered can create a big problem. I am sure there are other here more versed in introducing them. I got mine in pairs when I bought them. Hope this helps.... JO : please help : I purchased a sugarglider about 3 months ago, : her name is maylee. Recently I have been really busy w/ a new job and have not been able to spent as much time as I should w/ her. I feel really bad and was wondering if it would be a good idea to get maylee a friend? Do gliders of the same sex get along good? And last question how long should I wait before I but them in the same cage? : Thanks Stephanie
