I hate to sya this, but before I got my glider, I couldn't get my parents to let me have one either.They said i wouldn't have enough time for it. They were right. It got to be a real hassle to spend that much time with a sugar glider. Playing with him and watching him run around was only interesting for so long. Your parents have raised you since you were a baby, and they probably know you better than you think.
