Regarding them getting along with other pets. Where I used to live my roommate had 2 dogs. We were very carefull to never let them in the gliders room. However one night I must not have shut the door all the way and they got in there. Luckily my cage is really heavy and strong so they were not able to get her but they did scare her nearly to death.
