i believe you are right on that they look alike....but the vet on this show specifically called it a sugar glider, maybe he just didn't know what he was talking about...lol...at first i thought it was a glider, the noticed the size...about as big as a small cat....then noticed the tail being short.....other than that it looked exactly the same...the colorings and everything.....it probably was a relative, but doubt the same ones as we all have come to love.....have a fine glider day.
