The best advice I can give you is to just be PATIENT. I would venture to guess that your Sugar Glider is still a little unsure of you, and needs time to get to know you better.

Try to just hold it in your pocket or underneath your shirt. You may want to wear 2 shirts and place it between the two to avoid any "nipping" that may occur.

I have been reading a few of the other follow ups, and the one about feeding your SG to a snake is terrible and twisted, and so is the individual that posted it.

Owning an animal takes patients and understanding, and if a person does not have those qualities, they have no business owning a pet in the first place.
