Here's some ways I tell mine apart:

How wide the stripe is on the head. All of mine have different size stripes.
Fur color, mine all have slightly different shades.
Ears, there's a difference in the sizes of the ears.
Noses, not all gliders have completely pink noses. Some have a little bit of black over the nose, some have all pink noses.
Tail length and puffiness, mine are all different. When you pick them up you can easily
tell(if you haven't already at a glance) them apart by thier grip. Each of my gliders has it's own grip strength. Just for example, Cher's grip isn't very tight, Jerry's grip is VERY tight, and Salem's grip is very loose. He feels like he'll fall right off, and sometimes does!
If at first you can't tell a glider from another at a first glance, don't worry. You will learn thier little faces, and sounds!
