My SG has had tummy problems from the first day I got her. I'm feeling really frustrated because we cannot seem to find a balance between diaherra and constipation. She will eat and be fine for a few days, then with no difference in her diet I can find, she will have severe diaherra. Then I feed her monkey chow and sweet potatoes, which clears up the problem in 24 hours, but often gives her constipation. Recently I started feeding her crickets and mealworms because I thought she needed them, but they have aggravated her tummy. It seems like a vicious cycle that doesn't end! Please help - I have done a lot of reading and research and tried several combinations, but nothing seems to be a permanent fix.
Each night, I feed her one of these: monkey chow, Total cereal, or Science Diet, 2 or 3 veggies or fruits, and 3-4 times a week I feed her Nutri-Glider. I was feeding her insects, but stopped as I mentioned above.
