I am so sorry for your loss and know how badly you must feel. My heart breaks for those of you that have lost one of these wonderful little creatures. I can't imagine how I would be able to take it as well as you seem to. It makes me feel more and more angry at the people that buy them without knowing what they are all about. I am a new breeder and have been my worst salesperson!! I literally try to talk people out of buying them and make them listen to my whole speal on how to care for them. How many hours it takes to keep them healthy etc. I commend you for trying to save Janet and the little one. At least they had some love and attention they didn't have before! My prayers will be for you not to give up your quest of saving the ones that need you! God Bless!

: We came home tonite to find Janet, the rescue who recently lost her baby, dead in the cage. Brad, her mate, is fine and was really hungry for dinner. We have put the body in the fidge and will have a necroposy done to determine cause of death. She had not been eating well the last couple of days but had been drinking. I was putting Neocalgulon in the water and juice I had in the cage to ensure some nutriants.

: We also appear to have lost a baby girl in our Alpha family. She was in the cage this morning when I collected food dishes but is nowhere to be found now. She was in the urn the family uses as a house this morning by herself while the rest of the family had moved to the pouch in the cage. Her little brother is still there and appears to be fine.

: I knew I should have stayed home tonite. I would not have been able to do anything but hold Janet but it would have been the thing to do.

: I feel so helpless and can hardly see to type so I will close for now.

: Please pray for my babies.
