I agree that it is heartbreaking to watch these beautiful animals pay the price for people who are unable to make a commitment and actually stick to it. I have to wonder if these people would reat their children the same way, as Pumpkin & Gizmo are my children (along with their non-glider siblings)and although it is frustrating I guess that it is better that these people come here in an attempt to find a better home than the one they are providing rather than just dumping them elsewhere. I rescued Pumpkin from a similar situation and she is now thriving I shutter to think what may have happened to her if she were not with me.
So although it angers us all I guess we should be cautios not to alienate the people who are dumping these precious creatures because we know that this is a safe outlet with lots of loving mommies and daddies that may be able to offer the glider a better home. All we can do in life is our part.
