Hey hey hey people.... calm down, please. I agree that it is sad to see a glider who needs a new home... but at least the people who need to sell the gliders try to get them new homes. They could just ignore them... No one here needs to 'just die.' Some of us let our hearts get the best of us when it comes to our gliders, and sometimes we get a bit outraged.

You can't always forsee the future. Sure, you can guestimate your future... but unexpected things happen. Some of these things we could control, like a teenager who may be going away to college can see this happening... But what about the person who is lonely and buys a glider. They bond well and become each person's best friend. Let's say this person gets in a terrible car accident, and is disabled. Maybe she can't see, or can't walk. That cannot be forseen, along with many other things.

While we hate to see people who can no longer take care of their gliders... instead of shunning them, I think we should welcome them. If they come here and get yelled at and called names... What good does it do? I think we shoudl do our best to make sure that these gliders get good homes where they can get the right amount of attention and care. If a person is selling a glider, and see other people in their position getting yelled at... how is it going to make them feel? They most likely will just put an ad in the paper... or try to sell them to ea pet store... or maybe some worse things. The glider could end up in a place where the owner has no idea what they are getting into.

Help these people, and their gliders, don't hurt them and push them away.
