it is up to the individual to understand that life doesn't work out perfectly. not everyone researches everything, and critters have ALWAYS been a possession. not what you want to hear, i'm sure. but all you can do is teach those you meet, (raise awareness) and keep up with your own research. "ideal" exotic care constantly changes. never forget that there is a BUSINESS side to the trade.
