: I have figured out what happened with the joey in my alpha family. It was the male who was eaten, not the girl. That family has twin males from the second litter who are part of the family. I did not get them neutered yet and that was my mistake. They viewed the little boy as a threat to their place in the pecking order. They have been segregated until I can get them neutered, then they will be placed back with mom and dad. This may take a couple of weeks as I have a ferret who needs adrenal surgery next week. They really were a help to Myra taking care of the couple of litters that followed theirs.

: We have just about decided to keep the little girl because she is soo sweet. She does not cry at all when she is pulled away from Myra. Just curls up in your hand and goes to sleep.
