I think that you should go a head and call the RSPCA anyway. Besides that I would call the local humane society and contact PETA (People for Ethical Treatment of Animals) We hear horrible story after horrible story of the way that these animals are suffering at the hands of some untrained pet shop staff and yet we do not put the heat on. I am not saying that they will even be punished properly but if nothing else it will make them pay a little more attention to how their animals are being cared for because they know that these organizations will be monitoring them. If you really want to make them sweat contact a local news station, maybe that will shape them up. If you cannot locate the # for PETA just e-mail me.
