Take a jar and put the left over food in it from the night before put saran wrap over it and punch a few holes in it only big enought for the fly to get through. Empty the jar every day until all the flies are gone. Hope this helps and also keep the cage clean not saying it's not but there could be a little piece of food left over or anything to attract the ittle bugars.
