Subject: Fun place-bonding Posted by Kembar on June 18, 1999 at 21:33:40: Okay, some of you may know that I recently got a new sugar glider who is about 18 months old. She isn't very tame, and it's taking a long time to bond with her. Well, I can't really just let her run around, because she'll run off and hide, and be cat bait. So, I got a neat idea. I went into my bathroom, looked around and made sure everything was safe.. then got my glider and went in. She loved it! All the towels to play on and running around on the shower bar. She had a blast, and I loved watching her. She even jumped to me a few times and ran around on my arms. I followed her semi-closely, in case she fell.... I think it will help in the long run, because right now if I cant let her around... all I can do is hold her, and that's probably not going to help much. BUT, if you do this: PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR GLIDER! Im sure we all know of the toilet bowl dangers(could drown) and who knows what else... so just keep an eye on them(dont let them out of your sight!) and it should be fine :)
