We found that phenobarb alone only kept the seizures to once or twice a week, but if we also used potassium bromide we were able to lower the pheno from 11 twice a day to 2 twice a day and he hasn't had a seizure in over 8 months. If you need more info contact me at sheltee@bigfoot.com. Good luck and don't give up on him.: I own a greyhound, 2 yrs. old. He is the sweetest and we are saddened with his bouts of seizures. Looking for a vet that understands what's going on with him. Our current vet just keeps prescribing drugs that keep him zoned out, but still seizes at least once a week. Can anyone give some advise for how to help Uppy? (Uptown) Many thanks!
