Well, the first thing *I* would do is go back to the person you bought her from and ask for records of birth and such(well, I duhnno if everyone who breeds gliders keeps good records but I know that since I started thinking my glider is pregnant... Iv recorded *everything*). See what happens with that, and then take your glider to an *educated* vet. Go from there. If both of those things still point to her being very young... do research on hand raising baby gliders.

: Well, I think that my baby is VERY young...Her hair on her tail is short, and fits to the form of her tail-- it's not puffy like an older glider's should be. Caroline McPherson's book shows a picture of one (with the same description about the tail) that looks just like mine-- and this is the example of one that is too young to be weaned!! When I found this, I immediately got an eye-dropper to feed her with, and have been VERY gentle with her, trying not to handle her TOO much (even though I want to hold her all the time!!!)... Am I doing the right thing? What else should I be doing for her, since she's so young? Anything different?
