Caroline McPherson's book shows a picture of one (with the same description about the tail) that looks just like mine-- and this is the example of one that is too young to be weaned!! When I found this, I immediately got an eye-dropper to feed her with, and have been VERY gentle with her, trying not to handle her TOO much (even though I want to hold her all the time!!!)... Am I doing the right thing? What else should I be doing for her, since she's so young? Anything different? give the baby all the time you can it needs something to bond with.Dont get paranoid when it holds you with its teeth they do this to the parents. Its their way of hangin on.They usually dont break the skin when they do this they just don't want to release you.You will be able to raise the baby with an eyedropper and plain yogurt and applesauce and stage one baby food.
