I am so sorry to hear this. I went back and read all your posts. You seem to have handled this to the absolute bets taht anyone could. Your glider sounded as if she was either sick or far too young to be weaned. Your breeder needs to be told. There should have been some sort of guarantee and this happened far too fast to be your fault. You did the best you could and are to be congratulated on your obvious concern.
Contact the breeder and ask what they are going to do. In your situation I would not take another glider from this breeder without severe caution. There are good glider people out there you just have to find one
Good luck
: Thanks for all the help and suggestions, everyone. But my baby died last night. I've been crying all day, couldn't even go in to work. I miss her so much, and I only had her for a few days. I've been feeling terrible, like I wasn't a good enough mom. I was thinking maybe I held her too much, or didn't feed her the right things (since she's such a tiny baby) but according to everything you all told me, I did everything right. She may have just been sick from the start. I want to get another one, but I don't want her thinking I've replaced her-- I couldn't replace her. I wish I could just have her back. I haven't decided what to do yet. And I don't know where to get another glider, since that breeder seemed to have given her to me too young, and maybe even ill. I dunno...sorry for bringing this up. I just am so sad. And I wanted to thank everyone for all the help, even though it's too late now.
