Subject: Shipping Posted by Heather on June 24, 1999 at 11:38:40: I want to get another glider, but there's no other breeder within driving distance from here, and I'm VERY reluctant to get another one from the same breeder (we're going to be calling him about our glider-loss today). I don't want to ship one if it will be hurt, or traumatized, but I really need another glider to love and keep me company, since I lost Eve. Can anyone give me any information about shipping? I spoke with Caroline McPherson several times about it before I got Eve, and she said she's been doing it for years, even to Mexico and Canada, and has never had a glider come to harm. But still, I'm concerned. If I get the glider from the breeder I'm thinking of getting it from, it will come by UPS, right to my house. (The nearest airport is 2 1/2 hours away). It's gauranteed 24 hours and live delivery, just like it always is, but I don't want to hurt the glider in any way. Please help if you can. I need a glider, and don't know what else to do. But I'm very concerned for the safety and wellbeing of the little animal. Thanks in advance, everyone. --Heather **Glider Love and Hugs**
