Well my gliders love steamed chicken, I know someone who bakes ground turkey for her two males . They LOVE Meal worms and crickets. Avacado is VERY high in fat, gliders have a hard time digesting this. You can always give them a fuzzy once a week. You shouldn't give yogurt more than 3 times a week, they are lactose intolerant to much will give them diaharea amoung other things. Tofu is good if you can get them to eat it, mine will only eat it if I dress it up with something else. If you are looking for a vegan animal a Sugar Glider is Not for you. There are also products out there better for gliders such as Mazuri omnivore food Clara sells it at www. sugarglider.net . There is always Brisky's accu feed This is supposed to be a complete diet that you feed nothing else with.Mine won't eat it.
Good luck Kristi

I have a male sugar glider and at a later date would like to get a female for him. I also would like to know what I could feed him besides cat food for protein. Thats what he was getting before I bought him was cat food and fresh fruit and veggies every day. Any info would be helpful. How would I go about switching him over from cat food to some other protein source? And dont say poultry and cooked ground beef that doesnt sound good to me. Is tofu and yogert and avacodo enough protein each week?
