It's a shame that this is happening but don't panic. Make your appointment as soon as you know when you're getting it.The breeder that I got my babies from wasn't that great either.She was pushing me to take them sooner than 4 weeks and I ended up getting them when they were just turning 4 weeks oop. She said they were eating some formula they were feeding them (whole mile egg yolk and honey, RIGHT!!!)Anyway I got them home and when they weren't eating and called them, I found out that they had just been removed from the parents the day I went to get them.I panicked.Calling a friend who raises gliders in Texas I got them eating and on the right track, but I was scared. Fortunately too there are lots of good people on the board to help.For this next time around, I'd be hitting her with alot of questions, and making sure your baby was old enough.Hopefully things will work out okay.Good Luck

: I just wanted to give another little update here.... well, the breeders who killed my baby refuse to refund me-- they will only get me another glider. I can't STAND the thought of losing another baby because of their ignorance!!! And not only that, but they tell me it will be a month, while they just hold on to my $125. I DO NOT trust these people, and want to tell the world what they have done! I fell in love with a little animal, only to lose her in a matter of days. If anyone lives in the MO or KS area and is thinking of purchasing a glider from some "breeders" named Nikki and Robert Franklin in Pleasant Hill MO, DO NOT do it!! Find someone else--!! And most importantly of all-- and I cannot stress this enough-- MAKE SURE YOUR BABY IS OLD ENOUGH TO EAT SOLID FOOD ON ITS OWN, and take it to a vet RIGHT AWAY! When I say right away, I mean set up the appointment BEFORE you bring the animal home!! PLEASE....I don't want anyone to have to experience the pain that I have. DO NOT buy from these people, and make sure your baby is at the right age.
