: : : I am happy to see that you are interrested in adopting. You have a lot of research ahead of you, these are very unique - high maintainence - creatures. I am sure that you will make a great parent! :) : : : : CandiMI (look below) is searching for a good home for a couple of her gliders, but she is in Michigan...are you willing to drive that far?? LOL : : : : Whatever you do, you have the right idea about picking them up, it is not a good idea to ship the little guys. : : : : Good luck with your search! : : : Cheri and Gizmo ~Q> : : : : I just met my first pair of sugar gliders the other day and i'm in love! I just want to let anyone know that if they are looking for a good home with responsible parents for their sugar glider(s), please look me up. I am in Orlando, but I'd be willing to go anywhere in Florida to pick them up. I have a nice place where they can stay clean, happy, and free, and I'd love to have them as pets. If your gliders need a place to go for any reason, please let me know.
: : : : We have five sugar gliders already. We enjoy our "babies" tremendously. We would dive to Michigan to adopt more of them. Our "babies" welcome all new friends. We started with one adult male that was in need of a lot of socialization and love. When he calmed down we had gotten a female. They have had two babies. We then later had a friend that had one that was depressed that we brought home to join our family. She was welcomed right away and has been part of the family since coming to our home. They all live in our bedroom so that they aren't so easily distrubed. They come out to play in their paradise in our room nightly. They have all been introduced to our flying squirrel and enjoy getting out to play tag.
