: -First, A few places have suggested reptovit when I cant get : glider-aid. Do i put the powder on food, or in a separate dish? ***************** Okay you can order the Glider-aid from this link http://www.sugarglider.net/supplies/foods.aspl ***************** : -second, I have been feeding her at ten PM, but when should I remove : the food from the cage? Should I remove the food? ************* Your time is fine with leaving the food, Take it out each morning, leave any hard foods as a snack.. ************* : -There is nothing wrong with playing with her a little in the day, is : there? ************* There is nothing wrong with taking her out during the day to play;however, you may end up finding out, that if you want to pocket train her or pouch train her, that she may wake up, instead of going to sleep in your pocket, that she will want to play instead. ************* :I keep hearing people say to take her places, and she does like : my pocket, but wouldn't toting her around in the daytime get on her nerves, : her being nocturnal and all? ************* Toting her around in your pocket will not upset her nocturnal schedule. She will be asleep during that time, you want to try to avoid waking her up, so she sees your pocket or bonding pouch as a safe zone.. a place where she can sleep undisturbed. Here is a link to get bra pouches, bonding pouches, and people pouches, she will also embroider your gliders name on the pouch for you.. http://www.betsycc.com ************* : -Finally, I need some info on gliders...well.....gliding. My : freind told me Clowie, the glider, glides from time to time : but she seems amazingly unsure of herself in that aspect, and I haven't : seen her even make a nice leap. How can i make sure she is all right : or help her to glide? ************* Mine is a very cautious Gliding glider, she lovbes to glide but not far, The male however is Kamakazee, he will try to glide to ANYWHERE regardless of the distance. She will have a chance to find her own limits, you will learn them as well. Baybe will not attempt anything over 3 foot. Smokey however will try anything. The top of the curtain rod makes a good place to start the gliding practice stand close then each time move back a little bit more. ************* : -finally, is there any safe accurate way to tell their age? : -any helpful tips on games they like to play, also woule be greatly : appreciated. ************* We play gliderball, when they are in their gliding modes, we place our flat hand in the air like a stop sign, we say glider ball and they glide to our open hand. We also play tree, where you stand with your arms in the air.. they usually always run up to the top. so when they reach our fingertips we drop our arms to the side and they continue to run up..and we cross our arms etc.. to change sides.. We have our living room ggliderproof and lots of things for them to play on, ropes, planters with no plants, knick knack stands with no knick knacks, a friend used an old wine rack on his wall. Hanging cat toys with NO CATNIP, all this we use in their playtime area, Becareful of the strings , elastics cords, etc.. in their cage where they can accidently hang themselves. ************* : I know this is a lot of questions, but thanks in advance for helping Clowie : and me out!! ************* But by your questions we can all see that you have started to research, follow the link below to get on many many research sites.. ************* Good Luck..
