Well, after hearing all of the pet store horror stories, walking through the flea market today, I spotted a book on sugar gliders and went in.They didn't have any gliders, had sold the one they had. When they found out that we had two, they thought we were breeders, which we explained, were not, but got into a convesation about diet and how to care for them.At first, she said how easy they were to care for,in which I replied "NOT"!My husband and I were in there for about a half hour talking about what we fed ours, the importance of the diets, and how much time and research it takes. These people were obviously new at this. They had some homemade bottled goo-lookng stuff in a jar that one of their breeders sold them for glider food.I told her there was no way I would consider giving my gliders that, and told her about Leadbeaters, RepCal etc. I got the blankest look from both and in the end, she wanted to know where I had found these things out.I think she's thing twice before getting more gliders. At least I hope they do more research on them before they get more.I gave her glider gossip and a few other websites to check as well as Leadbeater's. My husband and I are still shaking our heads. We bought the book and left.
