Hang in there! It will take time and consistancy. try offering sweet foods from your hand while she is still groggy. Cary her in a bonding pouch during the day while she sleeps. There is tons of info out there do lots and lots of research. Patients is so important, put yourself in her shoes. Kristi : Ok where do I start? I just got a new sugar glider from a local pet store and while buying her a lady picked her and all her friends were handling her and the poor dear seemed so confused and scared then my soon to be sugar glider jumped off her shoulder and landed on the floor. I dont think she was raised in very humane conditions so I bought her out of sympathy and love for the little animal that seemed it wanted so badly to get out of there. Im not sure if she was hand raised or what. Ive had sugar gliders before but none quite like her. PROBLEM! She wont let me near her Ive had her for a couple days and tryed my best to get close to her she also is always bouncing around and falling off the top of her cage. Shes only a baby so its understandable shes so energetic. But shes very hostile I know probably because shes scared(after what she went through I cant blame her). No matter what I do she wont come near me. I dont want to push myself onto her I want her to be comfortable. But it kills me when she wont come near me all she does is run away. My friends say I should give her away but I will not give up on her she means alot to me already and I wont toss her away like that. PLEASE IF ANYBODY HAS ENCOURAGING WORDS I SURE COULD USE THEM OR ADVICE ON WHAT TO DO PLEASE????????IT WOULD MEAN ALOT.
