: (1). can you take S.G.'s on airplanes? I have never heard anything on this subject, but I recently went on a trip to California (I am from Missouri), and I really wanted to take Crickett, but I was afraid that the air pressure or something would be bad for him, Maybe even the sudden temperature change? If anyone knows anything about this, or has done it themselves, I would like to hear from you!

some do some don't for many reasons, however; as far as California, Ga and Mass. They are illegal states, in California, if caught there it is immediate confiscation, $10,000 fine.. so you must ask yourself first if it is worth the life of your glider..

: (2). Where do you take gliders for regular check ups? There are no health problems I am aware of with my glider, but I still would like him to see a vet, just to make sure he is A-OK! My regular vet for my dog and cat, knows nothing about gliders or exotic pets! So, where do I go?

You must search till you find a glider knowledgable vet, If you put this off till you really need him/her then it may be too late, even if it means getting phone numbers for out of state vets, and educating your vet about them..

: (3). This next question is for the creator of this site, does she read these posts? If not, how can I reach her to ask her my question regarding the pan she uses in her glider cages mentioned in the houseing section of the gliderpedia? I also wanted to know what she meant when she said, they will need cleaning after every feeding? I don 't clean my glider after he eats? Do you guys?

the cleaning of the pan under the cage is generally done weekly, their food bowls, and water is changed and cleaned daily..as far as cleaning the gliders, we don't do that either, they are much like cats who clean themselves, in VERY rare instances do you need to clean your glider, and I would suggest using a warm, damp washcloth
