: Are there certain times you have to feed Sugar Gliders? I am doing research before I get one, and I really need to know this. Also, do any of you regret taking on the responsibility of caring for a Glider, or is it worth it?

I think they already answered the feeding question but your next question is a biggie. I love my gliders VERY VERY much and they are an important part of my life. They return every bit of love that I give them. They are truly wonderful. BUT.... even as much as I love them, they are a serious pain in the butt. They are alot of hard work and will be for the next 15 or so years. I find myself planning my life around them quite often and making alot of sacrifices. Not quite as much work as kids but a close runner up. AND....mine have been(thank God) healthy. If they get sick it can mean an unbelievable amount of time and money. I did research for several months before I got my first and I still didn't fully grasp what an awesome responsibility it was going to be and I'm 32 years old with 3 kids of my own and 2 step-children. When I'm sick or just plain tired, I still have to take care of them and spend time with them. I don't mean to be all gloom and doom but it is definetely not a decision to be taken lightly. Good luck to you. I think you are on the right track by asking lots of questions.
